Erik brings in-depth knowledge and over 15 years of professional financial services experience to Westview. Prior to joining our firm, Erik was a partner at Champlain Investment Partners, a well-respected firm in the institutional investment space. Erik worked initially as an associate quantitative analyst on Champlain’s investment team. After sharpening his skills under the mentorship of the firm’s CIO, Erik advanced to specialize in the healthcare sector for the firm’s small and mid-cap investment strategies.

A graduate of the University of Vermont, cum laude, Erik earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago where he studied Political Philosophy and Law. He obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 2013 and is a member of the CFA Institute as well as the CFA Society of Vermont.

Erik is an avid reader and jazz pianist. When not inside he enjoys gravel and mountain biking, fly fishing, and spending time with his partner Catherine and their two dogs, Harley and Opie-J.
